These Kindergarteners read a book about friendship and connected it to the kind actions they can do in their classroom to be good friends. Above all else, we are kind to each other at Fricano!♥️🩶

Fricano is rooting for the Bills on Sunday! 💙❤️

These students worked hard to decode and encode words with sh today in UFLI. Great job first graders !

Kindergartners learned about sunlight and shadows today in science focusing on the anchor "sun warms the Earth's surface." They worked together to get 'Keya' to the ice cream truck on a hot day when she had no shoes!

Congratulations to our October Students of the Month! ♥️🩶These students were celebrated for their hard work in showing expected behaviors in October! They completed a community service project today to spread kindness in our library with special bookmarks.

The Starpoint Science Honor Society is going to be hosting a "Thankful for Science Night" for any interested students in Fricano and Regan on Wednesday, November 20th from 6 - 7:30.

Happy Veterans Day! 🇺🇸 Thank you to all of our Fricano family members who have served. We truly appreciate you! We will see students back in school on 11/12

We had a wonderful PBIS assembly today where Benny and our Bees helped Fricano students learn about personal space. Our 5th safety patrols even came down to be on stage in the assembly! Listen to the boundary song with your child: https://youtu.be/aSFvJbSQdA4

Our classes have been hard at work using UFLI to explicitly and systematically learn phonics skills as they practice reading and writing. We love the growth we're seeing in our students' skills. Great job!

These kindergarteners are working hard on the concept of "one less" in math.

Congratulations to our October Positive Office Referrals students! These students have gone above and beyond to show expected behavior and were recognized by an adult for their efforts. We are proud of you!

Fricano Families- Please see our November Newsletter: https://secure.smore.com/n/jqhbd
Does your child have a question for the PBIS Bees? Use the letter paper that is in their folder to have them write a letter to Benny, Katie Kind, Rosie Respectful, Sammie B. Safe, or Ralphie Responsible! When they get to school, they can put their letter in the PBIS mailbox!

Happy Halloween! We had a wonderful day celebrating at Fricano🎃

A big shout out to our PTA and all of the families who were "trunks" at the trunk or treat last night. Thank you everyone for coming!

Mr. Yates' kindergartners worked on their decoding today with a fun activity. They tapped balloons around and when the music stopped, they blended to sound out the word on the balloon and write it down! Great work!

We look forward to our Halloween parade on 10/31 at 9:30am. Please use the following link to access the live-steam: https://www.youtube.com/live/KElZKoMjRSg
