The goals of the Game Changers program are to promote teamwork and the value of inclusion; to foster a sense of belonging; and to provide new opportunities for social interaction, leadership, and community involvement. SMS had a great day at ECC yesterday! Despite this being most of the students' first Tech Wars competition, they rose to the occasion and showed what Starpoint Middle School has to offer!
-6th grader Avery Course took 3rd place in the Middle AND High School t-shirt design.
-6th grader Sam Farley took 1st place in Game Design and Coding ( Starpoint’s first time competing and winning in this event)
-6th Grader Jeffery Cacica Jr was a top finisher in Small Bridge
-8th Grader Milo Nicholson was a top finisher in Robot Drag Race
