Fricano first graders learned about compromise this week with Mrs. Mattar. The students presented their compromises to defeat rock brain and be flexible like bubble gum brain. Great job first graders!

We were able to celebrate our December Students of the Month today! Congratulations to these students who showed expected behavior all of December. They worked hard today to help make poster for the Day of Play(coming February 5!)

The Starpoint HS Musical Club is proud to present, Shrek the Musical, on March 7-9. We are selling Patron Ads for our playbill again this year. It was Grinch day in many classes at Fricano today!

Mrs. Cohan has come into many Fricano classrooms to teach students about Hanukkah. Students listened to a Hanukkah book and learned about the dreidel and menorah. They even enjoyed playing the dreidel game.Thanks Mrs. Cohan!

Congratulations to our Students of the Month for November that we celebrated last week. These students completed a community service project to help make posters for our cafeteria to remind friends of expected behaviors.

Some first grade classes enjoyed having family members in for holiday centers and crafts this past week. Thank you to our teachers for coordinating and our families for coming and helping!

We had a wonderful PJ day here at Fricano complete with Polar Express, crafts, and gingerbread fun!

Don't forget to wear PJs tomorrow! Please ensure your student still has appropriate shoes and outerwear for the cold weather.
