Freshman Class: Check out an opportunity to get involved with your class, run for a position to be a Class Officer! Congratulations to this Week's Stuart Sports Athletes of the Week:

From Boys Tennis, Dmitry Zhilivech. Earlier in the year, Dimitry lost a tough match to Amherst, losing in 3 sets with a tie break. In the following meeting with the same Amherst team, Dmitry would battle for redemption and smash his opponent in 3 sets. He has scored 8 pts for the Spartans thus far and will be a ECIC representative this upcoming Monday.

From Baseball, Brady Case, and Ben Ely. Brady pitched a complete game shutout striking out 3 in the team's win over first place Hamburg. In the same game Ben went 2-3 at the plate with a 3-run bomb driving in all 3 Spartans runs.

The Varsity Baseball Team lost a close game to Hamburg, 5-3. Sam Prezioso pitched 3 and 2/3 innings of scoreless relief. Prezioso, Brady Wilkinson, and Tyler Baker each had 2 hits. Mike Mikulski added 2 RBIs. (5/15)

Your Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team lost a close game to Eden. Scoring by Frankie Cardarella with two goals and Billy Bichler, Brady Moeller, Liam Keelty, and Vinny Kankolenski each with one. Noah Brennan made 13 saves and Liam Keelty led the way with 12 faceoff wins. Thanks to Nick Trifilietti for finding a way into a locked school when we got back around 11 pm. The boys look forward to their playoff matchup on Monday. (5/15)

The Girls JV Lacrosse Team won their best game of the season yesterday with a final score of 9-8 against Iroquois! At the beginning of the 4th and final quarter the Lady Spartans were down 4-7. Within one quarter the team pulled off 5 outstanding goals to win the game! Shoutout to Emma Burg scoring the last goal of the game while switching hands to utilize the left open side of the net! Also shoutout to our starting defenders- Annie Thompson, Adelyn Toponak, Gianna Prezioso, and Naomi Parsons for maintaining the strong Iroquois offense all 4 quarters of the game. And to Sophia Brachmann who nearly ran around the entire lacrosse field trying to kill the last minute of the clock...that was a site none will soon forget! Your coaches thank you all for your hard work and perseverance yesterday! Let’s do it again this Friday against Lewport!! (5/15)

Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team for yesterday's 15 - 12 win over Iroquois! Natalee Lawrence led the team in goals with 5 goals, followed by Kendall Allen with 4. Chloe Cooney, Meadow Berube each had 2 goals, and Nina Birggs and Sam Washington each had 1. Mihla Smith had an excellent pass to Sam to walk away with an assist. Natalee cleaned up the field with 6 ground balls. Maddie Wilger had 9 saves in net. Good luck, Spartans, in your game tonight against Williamsville North for Senior Night! (5/15)
