Elizabeth Dallas--Girls Varsity Swimming--Elizabeth is a winner in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle individual events along with being a part of the A relays for both the 200 and 400 free relays.Honorable mention goes to Trevor Pollow.11/02/20
Mike Dumond--Boys Varsity Soccer--Mike scored the team's game winning goal against Amherst in their 1-0 win.Allison Smith--Girls Varsity Swimming--Allison is undefeated this season in both the 200 IM and the 100 Breaststroke.Honorable mention goes to Alex Rudnick, Marlea Petroziello and Lydia Roselund.10/26/20
Nate Adams--Boys Varsity Cross Country--Nate is currently undefeated on the season. Additionally, he ran a stellar race against Hamburg finishing first overall on a very challenging course.Max Ciepiela--VarsityGolf--Max shot a 79 at ECIC's in very difficult conditions on a tough golf course. His score was good enough for a top 20 finish at ECIC's and a trip to the Section VI Championships in the spring.Honorable mention goes to Dom Grandinetti, Alexis Lichtenberger and Meagan Zupo.10/19/20
Cristian Donahue--Boys Varsity Soccer--Cristian scored two goals and an assist, including the game winner in the team's win vs. West Seneca East.Kristina Valnarov--Girls Varsity Cross Country--Kristina won the girls meet versus Sweet Home with a time of 22:53 to help lead the team to an overall victory.Honorable mention goes to Tyler Grimm, Emma Nesbit and Michael Zupo.02/28/20
Carly Dell'Oso--Girls Varsity Basketball--In the sectional game against Pioneer, Carly scored 10 points, was 2/3 from the free throw line, had 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block. Against West Seneca East, Carly scored 6 points, had 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 block.
Alyssa Armitage--Girls Varsity Indoor Track--Alyssa took 3rd place in the pole vault and clinched her spot at the State Championships on March 7th in Staten Island.Honorable mention goes to Blake Dewey and Tyler Kalota.02/21/20
Jaden Mott--Girls Varsity Basketball--Jaden averaged 18 points per game over the past three games scoring 16 against Sweet Home, 16 against Hamburg and 22 against West Seneca East.Dylan Lyness--Varsity Wrestling--Dylan placed 3rd at the Section 6, Division 1 Championships in the 113 pound weight class.Gavin Lyness--Varsity Wrestling--Gavin placed 4th at the Section 6, Division 1 Championships in the 120 pound weight class. Additionally, Gavin won the Character Award at the tournament.02/12/20
CJ Bradley--Boys Varsity Basketball--In his last two games, CJ averaged 28 points and 13 rebounds. He is currently 4th in rebounds in all of Section VI.Riley Schepis--Girls Varsity Basketball--Over her last 3 games, Riley averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals.Peyton Andruschat--Boys Varsity Swimming--Peyton finished in the top 8 at the Class B Swim Championships in both the 200IM and the 100M Butterfly.CJ Uptegrove--Varsity Wrestling--CJ took 1st place at the Class A Wrestling Championships in the 106 pound weight class.

Veda Jauch--Girls Varsity Indoor Track--Veda finished in 7th Place out of 78 throwers in the shot put and in 5th Place out of 21 throwers in the weight throw at the Rock n' Roll Throwoff.Tyler Hartwig--Boys Varsity Bowling--Tyler bowled a 715 set vs Williamsville North.Gage LaPlante--Varsity Wrestling--Gage won the Patrick Morales Tournament at Falconer. Jacob Eckler--Varsity Wrestling--Jacob won the prestigious Spencerport Tournament by going 7-0 with 6 pins.A.J. White--Boys Varsity Hockey--AJ has played outstanding in goal backstopping the Spartans to victories over St. Mary's, Lew-Port, Frontier and Gates Chili. Additionally, AJ shutout Hamburg in the teams 0-0 tie.12/16/19
Gage LaPlante--Varsity Wrestling--Gage made the All-Tournament Team at the Tonawanda Duals by going 7-0 for the tournament.Nick Brady--Boys Varsity Bowling--Nick bowled a 254 high game and a 667 set in the team's 7-0 over Williamsville East.Natalie O'Brien--Girls Varsity Hockey--Natalie scored 2 goals included the game winning goal in overtime to help the team secure their first win in program history against Hamburg/West Seneca/Eden.Honorable mention goes to Dexter Brooks, Kellen Daboll, and Rachel Dickey.12/06/19

Lily Anastasi--Girls Varsity Volleyball--Lily turned in a strong defensive performance during Sectionals where she finished with a team-high 17 digs in the Class A semi-finals against Williamsville South.11/01/19Allison Smith--Girls Varsity Swimming--Allison is a member of the Class B champion 400 Freestyle Relay team and the 200 Freestyle Relay team that placed 2nd overall in Class B. Additionally, she finished in the top 8 of her individual events: 200 Freestyle and the 100 Breaststroke in the Class B Championship meet.Ashleigh Cottrell--Girls Varsity Swimming--Ashleigh is a member of the Class B champion 400 Freestyle Relay team and the 200 Freestyle Relay team that placed 2nd overall in Class B. Additionally, she finished in the top 8 of her individual events: 50 Freestyle and the 100 Freestyle in the Class B Championship meet.Honorable Mention this week goes to Ashleigh Schrader and Alex Rudnick.10/24/19Allie Bashor--Girls Varsity Swimming--Allie set the ECIC championship meet, the school and Clarence pool records in the 100-yard butterfly with the time of 57.09 seconds, the fastest in Section VI this season.Aidan Davis--Varsity Football--Aidan rushed for 238 yards and scored 2 touchdowns in last week's game against Lockport.Ashleigh Krentz--Girls Varsity Soccer--Ashleigh scored 2 goals in the sectional win over Lake Shore.Honorable Mention this week goes to Becca Smith, Mikaela Sirica, Lydia Roselund, and Jerry Krentz.10/17/19
Joe Dell'Oso--Varsity Golf--In addition to strong play all season, Joe finished tied for 16th out of 51 golfers and has qualified for sectionals in May. The top 26 golfers in the field qualified for sectionals. Joe is the first golfer in the last four years at Starpoint to qualify. This is an amazing feat after focusing the last two years on baseball. His return to the team helped advance Starpoint into the wildcard playoffs last Friday.Jerry Krentz--Boys Varsity Soccer--Jerry scored 2 goals and contributed 2 assists over the last three games played for the Spartans.Joe Carlson--Varsity Football--In last week's win over Grand Island, Joe scored 3 touchdowns, kicked 4 extra points, averaged 47 yards per punt, passed for over 200 yards, rushed for almost 100 yards, and preserved the win with a game ending interception.Honorable Mention this week goes to Kellen Stenman and Kaitlyn Bender.10/10/19Nate Adams--Boys Varsity Cross Country--Nate was Starpoint's top finisher at the Pembroke Dragon Invitational on Saturday, October 5th. Nate finished in 8th place overall in the 3.05 mile race in a time of 17:27.Kristin Pickard--Girls Varsity Soccer--Kristin scored the only goal for the Lady Spartans in their game against Will South and played a tough game against Hamburg helping control the middle of the field against a powerful Hamburg offense.Lydia Gielow--Girls Varsity Tennis--Lydia had a crucial come from behind win during our Hamburg match. After being down 5-2 she fought back and ended up winning the set 7-5. She went on to win the second as well giving Starpoint the winning point in the match.Honorable Mention this week goes to Jake Dickey, Emily Reed.10/2/19Anna Fink--Girls Varsity Cross Country--Anna earned a ribbon at the very competitive McQuaid Invitational for finising in the top 75of over 200 runners in the girls seeded race. She finished 57th and completed the 3 mile course in 20:48.Kailey Schwab--Girls Varsity Volleyball--Kailey had 47 assists last week averaging 6.7 assists per set and reached for 14 digs. Kailey has also only missed 1 serve in 87 service attempts this season.Alexis Lichtenberger--Girls Varsity Tennis--Alexis picked up a huge win at 3rd singles vs Amherst last Friday helping the lady Spartans seal the victory.Honorable Mention this week goes to Allison Smith and Ashleigh Cottrell.9/25/19Allie Bashor--Girls Varsity Swimming--Allie has already qualified to compete in states in the 100 butterfly. She is also undefeated in individual events this season.Joe Carlson--Varsity Football--set a new school record with 5 touchdowns in a game in our homecoming win over West Seneca East.Emma Nesbit--Girls Varsity Tennis--At 1st Singles, Emma got a big win vs. Hamburg to seal the win for the Spartans.Honorable Mention this week goes to Stephanie Penna.9/17/19Katie Putney--Girls Varsity Volleyball--for her 24 kill performance against Sweet Home and her .500 hitting percentage in the win over West Seneca East.
Grace Vieaux--Girls Varsity Soccer--Grace scored both goals from her defensive position in their 2-0 win against West Seneca East. She also made several key defensive plays to prevent West Seneca from scoring.
Brad Converse--Boys Volleyball--In two matches, Brad recorded 55 assists, highlighted by an outstanding match on the road against Sweet Home where he totaled 29 assists, 9 service aces, 4 solo blocks and 4 kills.
