New Broadway Athlete of the Week


    Aaron Chase
    Aaron Chase--Varsity Football--broke a 34 year old school record throwing for 419 yards and 5 touchdowns in our victory over Grand Island.  He also kicked 5 extra points and was named Player of the Week in WNY by the Buffalo News.
    Samantha Shea
    Samantha Shea--Girls Varsity Track--broke the school record in the 400 meter run with a time of 58.33 seconds and qualified for State competition in Syracuse
    Mike Parisse
    Mike Parisse--Boys Varsity Track--came in 2nd at Sectionals in the shot put and also qualified for States in Syracuse
    Lydia Gielow
    Lydia Gielow--Girls Varsity Track--set personal records in the 400 meter and triple jump
    Ethan Majewski
    Ethan Majewski--Boys Varsity Track--tied a personal best of 23 seconds in the 200 meter and a personal record in the 400 meter
    Honorable mention to Nate Lang and Max Bowden for achieving state qualifying marks.

    Elizabeth Bradley--Varsity Softball--had 6 hits and scored 7 times this week

    Alexis Briggs--Varsity Softball--hit .615 for the week with 8 hits, 6 runs & 4 RBI

    Cristian Donahue--Boys Varsity Track--had a personal best of 19 feet in the long jump
    Nicole Valentine
    Nicole Valentine--Girls Varsity Track--set PR's in both the 200 meter and 400 meter races

    Campbell Schoenfeld--Boys Varsity Tennis--Undefeated in doubles in the division this year.

    Victor Zhilevich-Boys Varsity Tennis--Undefeated in doubles in the division this year.
    Brad Shea
    Brad Shea--Varsity Baseball--was 3 for 5 this week and the game winning RBI in our win over West Seneca.
    Adam Rankie
    Adam Rankie--Varsity Baseball--who had 5 hits this past week and 2 RBI
    Honorable Mention to Max Bowden-pole vault-for keeping everyone at the track until dark while he was clearing 13 ft 6 inches.

    Joe Dell'Oso--Varsity Baseball--pitched 2 games with 2 wins, struck out 22 and only 3 earned runs and is the NYS Prep Report Pitcher of the Week winner

    Josh Wildt--Boys Varsity Tennis--won 2 big hard fought matches at 2nd Singles for the Spartans with decisive wins over Sweet Home and Williamsville South in straight sets helping the team to a 3-0 start in Division II.
