The Board of Education recognizes that one of the important foundations of a successful school district organization is to engage in a productive partnership between the school and the community.  To that end, Starpoint identifies the following goals:

• To improve the quality of pupils' learning and growth.
• To improve the quality of community living.
• To develop community understanding, enthusiasm, and support for the district's program of public education.

Parents and pupils shall be encouraged to discuss concerns with members of the school staff most immediately concerned with the issue.
