Starpoint Schools now offers central registration for all new students. Please contact Mrs. Kathy Baich, our Central Registrar, to schedule an appointment to complete the registration process. Mrs. Baich may be reached by calling (716) 210-2224. Her office is located in our District Offices in D-Wing, near the Middle School. Student registrations will occur only during the following hours:
Student Registration Times, Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. & 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Parents must complete the Student Registration Form (available at the bottom of this page, as a pdf) to begin this process. Please print this form and complete it as it will help expedite this process.
Children are eligible to enroll in kindergarten if they turn 5 years old on or before December 1st following the start of school. Kindergarten registration is held in the spring. According to New York's education law, all children who turn 6 years old on or before December 1 in any school year must receive full-time instruction from the first day school is in session in September of such school year.The following information is required to enroll your child:
- Proof of age
- Proof of residency
You will also be required to demonstrate proof of residency. Two proofs of residency are required. Examples of acceptable proofs of residency are:
- Lease agreement
- Purchase contract
- Automobile insurance
- Current utility bill
- Tax bill
- Current rent bill

If you live in any of the following situations, you have rights and protections under the federal McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Act:
- Shared housing (doubled up) due to loss of housing or economic hardship.
- Living in emergency or transitional shelters.
- Living in motels, hotels, trailer parks, or campgrounds due to lack of alternative adequate housing.
- Living in cars, parks, public places, bus or train stations.
- As a migratory child living in any of these conditions.

To be eligible for kindergarten in September 2018, a child must be five (5) years of age on or before December 1, 2018.
If your child will be attending a nonpublic school (private or parochial) you still must register at Starpoint CSD. Bus transportation request forms (are located on the Starpoint website) for nonpublic schools must be received by the district Transportation Office on or before April 1, 2018.
There will be kindergarten registration days at the Fricano Primary Building in the Auditeria. Please visit one of the following days to register your kindergartener and schedule your screening appointment. Kindergarten screening will take place in the last week of June.
