About this course:
Common Core Algebra II will culminate with a Regents Exam in June that will count as one-fifth of the course grade. This course will also fulfill the third year of a three year math graduation requirement. Students who desire to achieve an Advanced Regents Diploma must complete and pass three years of Regents Math Exams (Common Core Algebra I, Common Core Geometry and Common Core Algebra II).
Students may be placed into a Common Core Algebra II Lab per the assessment criteria set up by the administration. Lab will provide a unique opportunity to assist struggling students enrolled in Common Core Algebra II. The lab will enhance and reinforce the material presented in the classroom but will not have a grade associated with it. The labs will afford the opportunity for students to have additional contact time with teachers.
