What is The Collaboratory Cafe?
Posted by:Multiple open collaborative work spaces with internet and printing capabilities. All computers & chromebooks are equipped with Windows Chrome browser & Google apps. The spaces are connected however one space will be used for independent, quiet work while the other space will allow for collaboration, discussion and groupwork. Rich Vittoria, Coordinator for the cafe will be available to assist anyone in need while using the resources in the cafe'.

Who can use the Cafe?
Posted by:Any Starpoint Central School District resident, student, parent, faculty or staff member.
* Beginning Fall 2018 Kindergarten students must attend with a parent or guardian.

When is the Cafe open?
Posted by:The cafe will be open one day each week, rotating Tuesday-Thursday from 2:30-6:30pm. Check the schedule on the main cafe web page for operating days and times.

Can I print while using the lab?
Posted by:Yes, there is a printer attached to each lab and users will have the ability to print from their comuters to the lab printer.

Can I get help while using the lab?
Posted by:Yes, Rich Vittoria, Coordinator for The Collaboratory Cafe @ Starpoint will be available during all operating hours to assist users with questions regarding internet, computer and printing. In addition coaching will be available for the use of Google Apps and Parent Portal for students and parents.

Are snacks and drinks available?
Posted by:Yes, you may purchase chips, granola bars, Gatorade, water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. All items are sold at cost and are .75 or less.
