TRANSPORTATION BID INFORMATION

  • Starpoint Central School District intends to release specifications by Friday, February 24, 2022 for a bid opening date of March 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM.  A pre-bid meeting is being held via video conference on Wednesday March 2, 2022, at 11:00 A.M.  Propsepective bidders MUST pre-register for the Pre-Bid conference by contacting Brian LaFountain at blafountain@transportationconsultants.com.  All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend as important information will be provided.

    The District is approaching the end of a multi-year transportation contract period that has been providing home-to-school, extra-curricular and summer services under a number of different contracts.  It is estimated that the new contract will require approximately 55 vehicles of various capacities with additional provisions for per student services.  The District is utilizing a bid process to solicit services for a five-year contract to begin July 1, 2022.
