Welcome to my classroom website!
My name is Justin Carere and I am the 4th grade instrumental music teacher at Regan Intermediate School. This year will be my 12th year working with the students of RIS and I feel extremely fortunate and excited to be working with the 140+ fourth grade students that have signed up to learn to play an instrument this year.
Students who are registered for the beginning band program will have a weekly in-school music lesson with me. These in-school lessons will run from Sept. 19th - June 2. The first lessons that students will need their instruments for will be the lessons on the week of Sept. 26th.
In January, our before-school band rehearsals begin. There will be two separate 4th grade bands, with one being on Thursday mornings and one being on Friday mornings. More information regarding these ensembles will be delivered to you in a few weeks.
