On September 7, 2020, Governor Cuomo signed a bill requiring public employers to develop a very specific emergency plan for future public health emergencies. This may include a continuation of the Coronavirus pandemic, or another emergency.
In response the Starpoint Central School District has worked with the District's Administrative team, Orleans Niagara BOCES and leadership from all District affiliated unions to develop the Starpoint Central School District Public Employer Health Emergency plan. A link to the DRAFT plan is below.
The public comment period for this plan opened on February 21, 2021 and ended on March 22, 2021. The Board of Education held a public hearing at the March 8, 2021 regular Board of Education meeting where members of the public were allowed to ask questions about the plan and give any pertinent input.
