Wednesday, November 30th - D Day
- Attention students and staff: Let's show our Buffalo Bills Spirit on Thursday, December 1st. Wear your best Buffalo Bills attire. If you do not have any Buffalo Bills attire, no worries, wear red, white, and blue! Go Bills!
- Please remember to check the Lost & Found for any items you may have misplaced. There are quite a few water bottles, pencil pouches and MANY sweatshirts. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of this week, so make sure you stop and check.
- Are you looking to give back this season? The Student Council Giving Tree is now set up in the lobby. Simply take an ornament from the tree, purchase the item listed, and return it to the lobby, unwrapped, by Wednesday, December 14th. All gifts will be donated to pediatric patients at Roswell.
- Attention Mrs. Norwood's classes, please bring your Chromebook today. Classes will be a study hall.
- Mrs. Fanara's SSA group will meet today after school in Mrs. Fanara's room. Please check your email for a Google classroom invite! Can't wait to see you!!!

- Sunday, November 13th, was world kindness day. We have been celebrating kindness all week! Need some ideas about how to be kind? All around the school, you will find posters giving suggestions! Here are some fun facts about kindness. Like most medical antidepressants, kindness stimulates the production of serotonin. This feel-good chemical heals your wounds, calms you down, and makes you happy! Be kind, be happy!

- In honor of world kindness day, which was Sunday, November 13th, we are celebrating kindness all week. Look around the school to find posters telling you how to be more kind. Here are some fun facts about kindness. Committing acts of kindness lowers blood pressure. According to doctors, acts of kindness create emotional warmth, which releases a hormone known as oxytocin. This causes the release of a chemical that protects the heart by lowering blood pressure. Be healthy, be kind!

- The music department is pleased to announce that five of our 8th grade band students have been selected to perform in the 2023 Middle School State Honor Band! The festival takes place in Syracuse on March 3rd & 4th. Congratulations to Madelyn Harding on flute, Hadley Griesmer on clarinet, Ryan Hutton on trumpet, Ayden McNeight on french horn, & Laurel Welty on trombone.

- Today is the fifth and final day of National French Week! Did you know that several popular movies, and plays are based on French stories or inspired by the French? These include Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Princess and the Frog, Ratatouille, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Three Musketeers, and The Man in the Iron Mask.
