The wrestling team didn’t let the treacherous conditions stop them from traveling out to Frontier last night. Earning wins for the Spartans were Abraham Eckler, Julian Quiros, Kyle Eleey, and Connor Proefrock.

- This announcement is for 6-8th grade girls who play or are interested in playing field hockey. There is a field hockey camp beginning February 20th and goes till March. The sessions are led by the Starpoint Girls JV field hockey coach. This is a great opportunity to learn field hockey skills and see if it would be a sport that interests you. Also, this is a great opportunity for existing field hockey players to improve their skills! If you are interested in this camp please see Ms. Pelloth in the PE hallway for more information.

- During 9th period, you must report to a teacher's classroom or if an athlete sports study hall by 2:24. You cannot be wandering around the halls or sitting in the lobby without adult supervision. During 9th period, you should not be in the high school for any reason without a pass.
- If you are an athlete with a late practice, you must go home unless staying with a teacher. You are not permitted to stay in sports study hall and then take the zone bus if you have a late practice.
- Please obtain a bus pass from the teacher you are staying with 9th period.
- The auditorium is not a hallway. You should not be using the auditorium to cross through the halls at any point during the day. Walk around.
- If you have any questions, please stop to see Dr. Gray or myself in the middle school office.

- Yesterday the modified wrestling team traveled out to Iroquois. Earning wins for Starpoint were Abe Eckler, Julian Quiros, and Kyle Eleey.
- The girl's modified basketball team traveled to Amherst last night and improved their record to 4 and 3. The lady Spartans final score was 33 to 11. Scoring 8 points for the team was Ava O'Callaghan. Baylee Budz contributed 6 points. Scoring 4 points for the team was Maria squared. Stepping up to the foul line and scoring points for the team was Olivia Schmidt and Lilly Billanti. Great job girls!

The JV girls basketball team moved to 8-1 with a 58-30 win over West Seneca East. Cloe Darlak closed the game out with strong defense and added 2 points and a couple assists.

Masking Expectations- Mask should be worn at all times. Properly wearing a mask is covering your nose and mouth.Cell Phones- you are not permitted to use your cell phone in the building except in the cafeteria and/or study hall to listen to music only.
Hats or having your hoods up is not permitted to wear in the building.
If you receive a referral for any of the following expectations, progressive consequences will follow.

The girls modified basketball team improved their record on Saturday to 3 and 2. The Lady Spartans beat West Seneca East 37- 12. Scoring 9 points for the team was 8th grader Maria Giomundo and 8th grader Jade Goranites with 8 points. Scoring 4 points each for the team was Becca Danwin and Baylee Budz. Scoring 2 points each for the girls was Olivia Schmidt, Kennedy Szpilewski, Torri Kowaleski, Maddie Walby, and Hadley Griesmer. Great job girls! The girls will be traveling tonight to Williamsville East to battle the flames.

- The JV girls basketball team moved to 6-0 over the break. Beating Kenmore East, 34-11 and Kenmore West 53-21. Over the 2 game stretch Natalie Prezioso scored 14 and Lauren Serena scored 7. They are home tomorrow against Williamsville East!
