Regan Intermediate Attendance and Pick-Up Patrol Procedures
Regular daily attendance is a critical part of school success for our students in grades 3, 4 and 5 in the Intermediate School.
Child(ren) should not be dropped off at school before 8:40 A.M.
Also, if your child(ren) will be arriving to school at 8:55 A.M. or later, you will need to accompany your child(ren) into the school. Please use Pick Up Patrol to sign your child(ren) in tardy.
Attendance Letters
A student(s) whose attendance is less than satisfactory may have a letter mailed home to parents at end of marking period. The letter states the attendance problems and is a reminder to parents of the importance of daily attendance. For instance, there are only two “excused” forms of absences from school. They are sickness and death in the family. All other absences are considered “unexcused” for our records.
Pick-Up Patrol
RIS is now using a web application called Pick-Up Patrol (PUP)
To help us manage our attendance and dismissal process. PUP makes it easier for you to make changes to your child’s attendance and dismissal plans.
No More Paper Notes
- Previously, you may have written a note or made a phone call to the office to let us know about an absence or a dismissal change. For example, Katie is getting pick up instead of taking the bus. Now you’ll use Pick-Up Patrol from your smartphone or computer and submit the changes there.
- The convenience of this app allows changes in days, weeks or months in advance.
If you have not received your welcome email from Pick-Up Patrol, please call (716) 210-2377. You will not be able to access PUP without this email.
