Monday, November 30th
Garnet A Day- The Annual Niagara County Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive is now underway. The organizers are looking for unopened jars of peanut butter and all it's cousins like almond butter, sunflower butter and Nutella. They are also seeking donations of jelly and Fluff so that families can stock their cupboards and make simple sandwiches. The donations help local food banks throughout Western New York including right here in Starpointland. The Middle School collection bin is in the lobby outside of Mrs. Gorman's office. Please consider making a donation and thank you for your generosity.

Please bring your CLEAN uniforms and have a ride ready to take you home at 4. If you are unable to make it, please drop your CLEAN uniform off to Coach in room F-29.

The SMS Cafe will be holding a Veterans Day activity today and tomorrow for any student who wishes to thank a veteran for their service. Cards will be available for students to write a positive message to a veteran, and will be given to one of these soldiers to read during mail call.

The Spartans boys JV soccer team finished their 2020 season last week with 2 games, one against Sweet Home which they won 3-0 and on Saturday in their final game they played Lew Port and came out with a win of 3-1. With those 2 final wins the JV boys team went undefeated for their season! Here are our top scorers and assist leaders for both those games: In the Sweet Home game was Sam Stryzo with 1 goal, Zack Ely with 1 goal, Ben Stennman with 1 goal, Anthony Scott with 1 assist and in the Lewport game was Cohen Vogel with 2 goals, Sam Stryzo with 1 goal, and Brady Hathaway with 2 assists. Congratulations on a great season boys, a job well done!

Garnet A Day- The Spartans boys JV soccer team went against Williamsville East on Saturday. They won that game 4-1. Our top scorers and assist leaders were:Zack Ely with 1 goal and 1 assist, Sam Stryzo with 1 goal and 1 assist, Brady Hathaway with 1 goal , Evan Stefanski with 1 goal, Avery Carmody with 1 assist, and Travis Pollow making a great save from the penalty spot. Congrats on the win boys!
