Gray B Day- Happy Spirit Week! On remote Wednesday we invite you to wear your appropriate pajamas. Friday is Halloween costume day. Please make sure it is school appropriate and do not cover your face other than your Covid mask.
- Attention 6th graders: please check your emails this Wednesday morning for a Google Meet invite from your WEB Leaders. This month's WEB Meet will be at 10:45am this Wednesday.
- The modified Cross Country team competed in their last meet of the season at Iroquois. In the boys 7th and 8th grade race Liam Keelty placed 1st out of 30 runners. Jackson Greismer and Ben Olson placed in the top 5. Trent Ostrowski and Brennon O'Neil placed in the top 10. Sean McDonald and Lucas Pachan finished with season best times. In the girls 7th and 8th grade race Sophia Rosner took 4th out of 29 runners with Allie Piechowski finishing 10th in a season best performance. Great job to all on a very successful season.
- Congratulations to the Girls JV soccer team for beating Hamburg over the weekend 2-0. Goals were scored by Bella Scott and Lily Krentz with help from Brianna Ginnane and Maddie Adamo. Special shout out to the girl’s goalie, Berkely Messer for stopping every shot. The entire team worked extremely hard and showed a tremendous effort. Great work girls!
- The Spartans boys JV soccer team played their 3rd game against Williamsville South yesterday. They won the game with a score of 5-1. Our top scorers and assist leaders were: Brady Hathaway with 2 goals and 1 assist, Evan Stefnaski with 1 goal, Zack Ely with 1 goal, Sam Stryzo with 1 goal, and Cohen Vogel with 2 assists. Congrats on the win boys!

Today is Election Day for student council officers. Any student in grades 6,7 and 8 are asked to vote. How? Go to Mr. Wieclaw's Teacher Page and look for the student council election link. This will take you to a Google form for voting. You may only vote once. We will announce your officers on the Monday announcements. Don't forget to vote! The "poll" closes by 4pm this Friday.

On Saturday the modified Cross Country team hosted Alden and West Seneca West. In the boys 7th and 8th grade race Liam Keelty, Ben Olson, Jackson Griesmer, Trent Ostrowski and Sean McDonald all placed in the top ten. Lucas Pachan and Brennon O'Neil had season best times. In the girls 7th and 8th grade race Sohpia Rosner placed 3rd. Allie Piechowski and Addie Powers had season best times.

The Spartans boys JV soccer team played their 4th game of the season. They defeated the Sweet Home team with a final score of 6-3. Scorers and assists from last night game are Cohen Vogel with 3 goals, his 1st hat trick of the season! Brady Hathaway with 2 goals and 1 assist and Sam Stryzo scoring his 1st goal of the season. Congrats on the win boys!

The modified field hockey team tied their game last night to Williamsville North. The Lady Spartans kept the play in the opposing teams end for the majority of the game but we were unable to put one in the back of the net. Netty Schultz was solid at midfield and Lilly Cook and Natalie Prezioso had some great opportunities on offense. Their record is now 3-0-1.

The Spartans boys JV soccer team played their second game of the season last night against the Amherst Tigers and won the game 4-1. Our goal scorers were: Brady Hathaway scoring 3 goals and scoring the team's first hat trick of the season, hopefully not his last, and Nate Gniazdowski scored 1 goal. Congrats on the win, boys!!

In the Boys 7th and 8th grade race, Jackson Greismer, Liam Keelty, Ben Olson, and Trent Ostrowski finished 1st through 4th in dominating fashion out of 34 runners. Charles Hylkema placed 6th and Nate Wendt placed 9th. In the girl's 7th and 8th grade race, Sophia Rosner placed 2nd and Addison Powers placed 9th overall out of 18 runners. Excellent start to the season!!

Congrats to the Modified Field Hockey team - they won their first two games this week. Tuesday they played Lancaster and won 3-0. The following girls scored Alexa Johnson, Gianna DiPassquale, and Lilly Cook. Yesterday, they girls played Amherst and won 4-0. Liliana Tortorella scored and it was assisted by Ellie Barone. Lilly Cook scored two goals; one of the goals was assisted by Ellie Barone and the other assisted by Netty Schultz. The last goal was scored by Natalie Prezioso. In both games, the defense did an outstanding job keeping the ball in the opposite teams end. Congratulations to the entire Modified Field Hockey team.

The Spartans Golf team bested the Panthers 298 to 260 on Monday night. There have been four Spartans in the 30's this season. They are Max Ciepiela, Tyler Grimm, Drew Beiter, and Kyle Gibbons. With the win, the Spartans move to 3-2 and face Will North on Tuesday. Tuesday is also Senior Night, let's hope the boys are victorious.

Our goal scorers for the game were Sam Stryzo with 1 goal, Brady Hathaway with 1 goal, Cohen Vogel with 1 goal, Anthony Scott with 1 assist, and our goalie for the game Travis Pollow did a great job in net for a clean sheet. Congrats on the win boys!
