    • Congratulations to one of this weeks Broadway Knitting Mills Spartan Athletes of the Week: From Girls Ice Hockey, Madison Mallone. Madison scored 2 goals against FLOP to help her team earn their first regulation win. Madison was also nominated for the Buffalo News Female Athlete of the Week.

Cohen Vogel and Jackson Griesmer each had 11 points, Evan Floss had 8 points and Richie Deney had 10 rebounds. The team would like to thank everyone who came to show their support at the game! Next home game is Thursday versus Amherst.

    • The Modified boys' team lost a tough game on Saturday to undefeated Cheektowaga, 58-50. Evan Floss scored a team-high 14 points and had 4 steals, Jackson Griesmer added 10 points. The boys are back in action today at home at 6:30 vs. Pioneer.

    • Last night the wrestling team went to Clarence middle school. Those that walked away with a win for Starpoint include Sam Tomm, Colin Gniazowski, Joe Fedder, Luke Clark, and Zach Ely. The team will get back to work and look forward to the meet at Lakeshore next week.

    • Congratulations to the Niagara County Lady Warriors on their 3rd victory of the season, first in regulation, against FLOP 4-3. Scoring from Starpoint was Madison Mallone (2 goals) and Natalie O’Brien. Skylar Berube picked up and assist in the win. The victory boosted the ladies up the standings and playoff seedings.

    • Congratulations to the Modified Boys basketball team on a 56-36 victory over West Seneca East on Saturday. A true team effort saw 13 different players score for the Spartans!! Evan Dean had a team high 14 rebounds and 5 steals, Cohen Vogel had 15 points and 4 assists, and Richie Deney had 8 points and 9 rebounds.

    • This a thank you for your Giving Tree donations from the director of Compeer Niagara. 

      I want to thank you and the Student Council for thinking of Compeer Niagara for your giving project. We are honored to be recognized and grateful for the opportunity to pass along your generosity to those in need. Starpoint has allowed many Niagara County youth to feel more comfortable this winter with their warm hat and glove donations. This year we will be hosting a snowshoeing event for the youth program, the supplies will also be used to ensure everyone can participate.

    • Attention all JV And Varsity Athletes, you should have received a permission slip to attend the Winter Pep Assembly on Friday, January 10th in the High School. If you did not, check with your homeroom teacher and if they do not have it see Mrs.Gorman in the Attendance Office. These permission slips must be signed and returned by Friday Morning or you can not attend the assembly.

    • Congratulations to the Niagara County Girls Hockey team as they won their 2nd ever game in thrilling fashion once again, 4-3 in OT versus Grand Island/Kenmore. Natalie O'Brien had a goal and an assist and Madison Mallone scored a goal. Skylar Berube and Marina Madsen played strong games at forward, while Faith O'Connor play well on defense.
