Good Morning Starpoint Middle School. I hope you are all excited about homecoming weekend and the parade later today. Now that we are three weeks into the school year, it is important to remind you of the importance of getting to class on time. This means you are in your seat and ready to learn by the time the bell rings. Getting to class on time does not give you permission to run in the halls but it is an opportunity for you to plan your day accordingly. Please take the time to review your schedule because there may be times when you do not have enough time to go back to your locker to get materials for your next class. This means you may need to bring materials for more than one class with you as you transition from class to class. If you have questions or need help to plan when to go to your locker, just ask your homeroom teacher or counselor. Most importantly, beginning on Monday, teachers have been asked to formally document class tardiness which may result in a referral and detention.
