As a Social Studies teacher my objectives and goals are to help facilitate an environment where instruction can be conveyed in a way as to create a space in which actual learning can take place.  This is accomplished through the use of developing a variety of types of instructional/learning strategies that will hopefully make it possible to reach and affect students at every level of development.  The more history and civics I can make "come alive," the more it becomes relevant to the students that I am tasked with instructing.
