I am a certified teacher and an expert in using technology tools in conjunction with your current teaching methods.  Technology is not something extra to teach, but just another way in which to teach.

·         Classroom projects; WebQuests; Project/Problem Based Learning

·         Instructional Strategies and Technology:  Cooperative Learning (wikis, online docs, interactive websites), Differentiated Instruction (online surveys/pretests/post tests, leveled interactive websites), Multiple Intelligences (electronic graphic organizers, multimedia), Learning Centers (technology classroom management for student independence—at any grade level)

·         Multimedia (digital cameras, video, sound), Slideshows

·         Literacy strategies (blogging, note taking)

·         Classroom websites—integrating Web 2.0 tools

·         Mapping interactive software and websites to your curriculum

Even if you just have a quick question or problem with the software you are using, send me an email (mkitchen@starpointcsd.org) and we can set up a time to meet.  I can also meet with you during your planning time and plan a lesson to co-teach, model a lesson for your class, or just be present for an extra set of hands (or eyes) in case something goes wrong.
